Antonio L Coney (Teeza) is a former lead singer of the Gospel group True Believers. Been singing and performing over 20 years. Came out with a song called don’t count me out, and The old Lady, that really put me in the spotlight on the gospel circuit. I’m also an author of three books as well with my latest released a couple of years ago “Color of Horses! I have strong church and family values, nothing that I do is done without a purpose of serving God! I write stage plays and I also act in stage plays! I’m married with 3 children all about grown with my son being a senior in high school. Both of my daughters sings and make music as well! I Love writing songs, weather gospel, blues, country, soul or r&b. And I aim to do something wonderful with the gifts God has allowed me to have! Recently heard this southern soul style of music and fell in love with it the moment I heard it. And the more I listen to it the more I feel I’m at home !
The Arthur Antonio is a promising author who started writing to share his experiences with people who were facing difficulties and hardships. He then felt the need to share his thoughts and fantasies. So, he created his first fictional book, “Color of Horses”, which was inspired by the “Me Too” movement. Afterwards, Antonio felt a strong desire in his spirit, a desire to write something to encourage children, to help them understand that there is a higher power that can help them in their circumstances and strengthen them in becoming great human beings. The artist Not only is Antonio a promising author, he is also a songwriter, straight from the past, but his music transcends time. Gospel is his favorite music to write. It evolves from deep within, from life experiences that molded him from his youth. In addition to Gospel, Antonio has a gift of writing R&B and Blues songs. Lately, he has tapped into the genre of Southern Soul. He developed the persona of the artist known as Teeza.
