Vercleaner uses Hotjar to understand users’ behaviour and needs when using the website, and to optimise our service and experience accordingly. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.), thus allowing us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ devices and their behaviour. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Social Media Tracking
We have enabled ‘Maximum’ data-sharing with Facebook to help improve the relevance of adverts shown to users based on customer data. Customer’s personal information (name, location, email address, phone number, and browsing behaviour on our website) is used to create lookalike audiences on Facebook’s network. This means that this website uses Facebook’s Conversions API and pixel. Using the customer’s web browser, data is shared directly with Facebook’s servers. Browser-based ad blockers can’t block this data.
